About this pro

My name is Arda "B." Bagcioglu and I specialize in private electric and acoustic guitar lessons in my or your home. I have been playing and teaching guitar for over 20 years,over the years i've had over 1000 students.Guitar should be a fun and enjoyable, as well as a pleasant learning experience for a student. Whether you're a true beginner or want to advance your guitar playing skills I can help you achieve your goals. I enjoy teaching all age groups, children, teens and adults.

Have fun while you advance your skills for school band, your own band, or for your own personal enjoyment. I have taught and played many genres of music, and can tailor lessons to suit your taste--Rock, blues, country, metal, pop, school band, jazz, to name a few.

Home lessons can help today's busy parents and working people save valuable travel time, and enable them to enjoy learning in the comfort of their own home. I live in the Charlotte area and have a flexible schedule to accommodate students.

I am so sure you will enjoy your guitar lessons, that I offer the first half an hour lesson for free!

I feel really grateful to make a living with something i love, besides making money, traveling, meeting new people, seeing different places is always an adventure. Also some of my students play with the bands around the area, when i see them play,i feel really proud. Witnessing my kid students grow and their improvements are another reason to feel proud!

I like working with Arda because he teaches at your pace and is always open for any questions and is glad to cover the thing you’re missing until you move onto the next one.

Arda’s teaching style is tailored to the individual. He has a ton of knowledge and experience on the guitar but still knows how to engage a beginner. After learning some basics online, he has ramped up my progress quickly-always enough of a challenge that I make large gains in between sessions and move beyond at the next session. His ability to teach some basic music theory along the way helps me build skills that come in handy down the road. His teaching style and pace keep me motivated and he adjusts as I progress. Highly recommended.

Arda is extremely knowledgeable and talented. Takes the time to teach you not only how but why the guitar is played the way it is.

Arda was always focused on where I was in my learning and tailor made lesson plans around my abilities and style. He kept my lessons just at the edge of my abilities to keep me working and improving. Arda also has a great understanding of the guitar, scales, modes, and is able to teach these in easily understandable methods. One of the best music teachers I’ve ever trained with.
