My teaching approach:
Music first. Guitar Second. I approach the instrument from a classical teaching perspective. I.E. learn to read music on the instrument while showing technique and learning theory. I do not teach students simply to read tabs and play "wonder wall." i graduated from Methodist University in May, 2010, with a degree in Music/fine arts management.
My influences are:
Tray Anastasio, James Patrick Page (Jimmy Page), Leo Brouwer, Allman Brothers, Moe., Grateful Dead, Villa Lobos to name a few.
