I was going to Guitar Center for more than six months but was not being challenged or given any practice exercises. In just 4 half hour sessions I can see an amazing improvement in my ability to learn chords and get my fingers to make music. The time spent with a real instructor is invaluable and it’s even cheaper. I highly recommend Jeff if you want to learn guitar.

I was taught by Mr. Styles for 10 years, and I learned a great deal when I was his student. His dedication to my learning and progression was outstanding. He will teach anyone what they want to learn and even more. He is friendly, understanding, and most importantly, a really chill guy. I would recommend anyone to learn from him

    Frequently asked questions

I usually begin by introducing the student to the guitar (parts of the guitar, different styles, etc.). Finger strengthening exercises are then introduced to the student. We usually round out a beginning lesson with a chord or two (if they seem ready). Sometimes introducing first notes if they are interested.

I have had music lessons most of my life it seems. beginning with piano. I also played recorder in school. During Middle, High school and college I played the trumpet in marching as well as concert and jazz bands. I took banjo lessons and then found my favorite the guitar. I trained in classical guitar as well as folk / rock / pop in college.

I have been teaching guitar for 25+ years. I have had students of many different ages and interests.

My normal fees are $20 per lesson (30 - 45 min.)

A friend (pastor) ask me to teach him to play. Then later when I had lost my job, decided maybe teaching was the answer.

I have worked with all ages. From very young to kind of old. Enjoy all!

Hire some that you are comfortable with. Not just someone who is good on guitar but has good life experiences also.
