Your first guitar lesson with me might include the following:
I try to determine what the student already knows about guitar and then determine what it is that they want to accomplish with lessons. After this assessment, we determine a plan together and take the necessary steps to get to our goal. It is truly a unique evaluation for each person.
A guitar lesson with me might entail the following:
We either review prior lesson material and ask for questions. Then, we tackle new material and I send the student home with an MP3 of the lesson and also some paper/written documentation as well. The student will take this with them to use as a reference for their home study.
The qualities I look for in an ideal guitar student might include the following:
Someone who has a real desire to LEARN. They do their homework and comes prepared for the next lesson with the prior lesson already under their belt.
