About
I believe the one thing that makes studying music theory with me is I don't simply show you what to play, or how to sound. However, I provide you with the tools and knowledge for you to define your own style, sound.
I enjoy connecting with people from many different musical backgrounds and interests and learning from and about them. We can all learn from each other, and I appreciate the growth that I've experienced from those I have taught.

Frequently asked questions
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a BA in music Production and engineering. I studied music theory with guitar being my principle instrument in College. I have been teaching in both private and clasrrom settings for 11 years now.
How did you get started teaching?
I was inspired by my mentor. He was an amazing person that has taught hundreds of students over the years. However the one thing I appreciated about his teaching style is that none of his students sounded alike or like him. He taught them how to have their own identity within music.
