Can teach in studio at Music & Art at Concord Mills Mall

Can travel to and teach in students home

Teach guitar, ukulele, banjo, dulcimer, piano and music theory.

I enjoy seeing students grow musically and learn to perform for others.

I combine learning standard musical notation with ear training and learning by ear or by rote.

I especially enjoy when some students branch out and perform with groups onstage or in churches.

John truly is a great music instructor. My three boys learned so much from their lessons (tuning, notes, playing together, solo, rhythm, etc). We only stopped because we have moved out of the area. John's notes to me on their lessons are very detailed on what they learned, what needs practice and where they are. My boys enjoyed their lessons and will truly miss John! Thank you! Jun 5, 2018
