Mike Adams has been teaching over 20 years. Originally from New York Graduated from Berklee College Of Music. Studied conducting at Julliard and Manhattan school of music. Studied arranging with Don Sebeski, Nelson Riddle, Michael Gibbs. Have played piano, and keyboards all throughout the US and Europe.
Mike teaches how music works through Music Theory, so the student will learn how to play anything that comes their way. There are no quick fixes or quick steps. Just like one learns English and social studies in school will be my approach with piano and music. I make it fun and enjoyable while we learn music that can be difficult. I just love it when the student finally gets it. I can see the lights go on. I give a lot of music theory to make sure they know how music works. Paying attention to all the nooks and crannies are done on the page. I teach most genres of music. Teaching how to play chords and improvisation. Also can teach electronic music and music production. Teaching something hard and making it fun
