Passion! Enjoyment! I've been described as patient and articulate with helping explain concepts and I enjoy speaking/communicating as much as I do music.

All ages and many different personalities (as young as 4 and old as 84)
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Jazz wedding gig for a lovely couple -- they expressed their unique cultural values in their reception and it was a joy to witness and be part of through music.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Down to earth and relaxed (in conjunction with professionalism) can be more flexible working with you than the more corporate atmospheres of music lessons that have shown up in recent history.

"Do I enjoy learning?"
"What mindset do I need to make lessons a positive experience?"
