Music With Ms. Amy

Ms. Amy is an independent music teacher. She has been enjoying music for many years. From a very young age, she has been playing the piano and singing for nearly any one that would listen! She took piano lessons for approximately 10 years beginning in Elementary school. She began singing with Middle School Chorus part way through the Middle School years. During the final year of Middle School, she auditioned for a brand new all girls choir that would start up the following year – her first year of High School. She got a part and spent all of her high school years as a member of The Sweet Inspirations.

As an adult, she has performed for many church services including leading the Praise and Worship team. She has sang for numerous weddings, funerals, and revival services. She has also performed with the Raleigh, NC Encore Singers & currently assists in conducting for her church choir when needed.

Ms. Amy currently teaches preschool Music & Movement classes at a local, Raleigh, NC preschool. She also teaches 16 piano students from her home studio. She has done both of these for nearly twelve years! She is currently a member of the Music Teachers National Association, NC Music Teachers Association and the Raleigh Piano Teachers Association.
