I have many different teaching plans that are appropriate to the genres a student prefers. I use pro tools 10 to record any of my students who desire such tools.

If a student is in the introductory phase that particular student will be analyzed on his or hers technique, familiarity, and knowledge of their instrument. Then I would plan a structured lesson around those weaker spots.

A guitar lesson could entail sight reading, scales, improvisation, music theory analysis, chord structure, proper guitar technique, and many other lesson plans. Or just rock out!
The qualities I look for in an ideal guitar student might include the following:
An ideal guitar student would be one who is willing to learn and doesn't mind daily practice.
