Hi! My name is Melchi Kpade, and I’m a jazz pianist and educator with several years of experience performing and teaching students of all levels, from beginners to advanced players.
Lessons with me are supportive, engaging, and goal-oriented. I focus on helping students truly understand music—not just read notes. Whether you want to learn piano from scratch, improve your ear, or develop improvisation skills, I tailor each lesson to your interests and learning style.
My background is rooted in jazz performance, harmony, and ear training, with an emphasis on developing strong time feel, musical intuition, and confidence at the piano. These skills translate across many styles, including jazz, gospel, R&B, and pop.
