What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I think it's important to first learn my students goals and find out what they want to get out of music. Finding what inspires them is how I keep them around!
How did you get started teaching?
I started by giving lessons to friends. I was approached by a guitar instructor who was looking for a drum instructor for their business.

All ages and skill levels.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Don't settle for a teacher just because you think they're a good player. Make sure you are comfortable, that they are patient, and that you ask a lot of questions.
