About
Blue Raven Music Studios started as the dream of Husband and Wife, Matt and Jenny Richardson. They wanted to create a fun and inviting atmosphere where music was open to EVERYONE, no matter age or experience! Blue Raven opened in 2009 and has been going strong ever since! Many of our instructors are local music scene veterans with thousands of hours of performing experience. Several of our younger instructors were at one time early students of the studio and have gone on to become strong musicians in their own right, teaching and performing in bands.
Music is a way of life here at Blue Raven and we strongly believe it should be enjoyed by everyone! Whether your dream is to lead your own band or just strum along to your favorite song on cold winter’s day we have you covered.
We offer lessons for all ages and experience in Guitar, Piano, Vocal, Violin, Viola, Dobro, Bass, Ukulele, Mandolin, Banjo, Lap steel and drums

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
We have several instructors who have different processes. But we do try to accomodate the student's preferences in what they want to learn!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
All of our instruxtors are music scene veterans, performing regularly in bands anywhere from 6 to 30 years. Some of them have gone to music school as well. They are all valid and accomplished musicians
