Shirley Harrison was my pre-college teacher and prepared me for a successful college career. She instilled within me an understanding of stylistic interpretation and performance practice. She also introduced me to the technical skills necessary to perform a variety of styles. Mrs. Harrison is an artist-teacher in the truest sense. I have carried lessons learned with her through two piano degrees and a career in piano pedagogy. I highly recommend her to serious students wishing to delve into the world of classical repertoire and to anyone wishing to pursue a career in piano.

Shirley is an excellent piano teacher who has so much knowledge about music. Anyone who has the opportunity to learn from her is truly blessed.
