My teaching approach:
I have a BA in Music Ed, and have been playing/performing for over 40 years. I do not teach out of a lesson book, but rather I create a "custom" lesson book for each student, depending on what they want to learn and how fast they learn. I also teach Bass guitar and 4 or 5 string Banjo lessons.
