My business card states "I believe that music should have children for a lifetime." Whether a child or an adult my goal as your teacher is to make your music study rewarding and fulfilling for a lifetime of enjoyment.
I have been teaching piano and music for over 40 years to students of all ages and abilities. I was the first vocal music director at LaVista Junior High in LaVista, NE and have maintained a private piano studio in four different states. My degree is in Music Education, K-12, Band and Vocal and Piano Performance.
I love seeing the joy on students' faces when they've reached a new level in their playing ability. I take pride in the fact that my students realize that playing the piano is a skill they can use no matter how old they get. It's rewarding to know that I made a difference in a student's life.
