Susan Surette Our son, Justin, started piano lessons with Peter when he was 9 and we've been going to TLP for over 4 years now. Peter pushes Justin to be better with all of his music. We also appreciate the flexibility in summertime lessons allowing us to continue weekly or pick only some weeks. Justin enjoys learning about all genres of music as well as the fundamentals like scales and chord structure which Peter focuses on. He's also been willing to work with Justin on areas he wanted to focus on at times such as Jazz and sight-reading. We are very happy and plan to continue with TLP at least through high school. We highly recommend Peter Klapka and the TLP Music School.

FAQs

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

We offer private lessons for piano, voice, acoustic and electric guitar and bass guitar on all levels and styles. Lessons are typically half hour one on one weekly sessions where we work on developing proper playing techniques, understanding music theory and building a base for becoming a successful musician while having fun. The lessons are available Monday through Friday from 3:00 to 9:00 PM and Saturday from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM. The tuition is a monthly fee of $140.00 and it covers up to 5 private weekly half hour lessons, all the materials including back up tracks, books, all the sheet music for the songs we work on, music theory course and unique customized program for each individual student. We do not require any long-term contract.  All our teachers are professional musicians with degrees in music education and performance and years of experience. Our lessons also come with 100% money back guarantee so if you are not totally satisfied for any reason after the first two lessons we will refund your monthly tuition in full. Please, let us know if you would like to sign up for the lessons or schedule an appointment for a free no obligation visit to our studios.
