About
I have many years of experience with students of all ages, in traditional and the Suzuki approach. My students who participate in NYSSMA score very well, and many play in area youth orchestras.in addition to Suzuki, I have a certification in the Kodaly method, and a New York State Teaching Certificate in Music K-12. I spend time in every lesson on note reading, and music theory as issues unfold for discussion. My approach is methodical and organized, and I spend time on good technical setup from the beginning. But above all, I maintain a sense of humor, and interest in each student as a person with unique needs, in order to tailor my approach appropriately.
