Kyudokan dojo students study under the direction of Sensei Andy Dominey.
The essence of the Kyudokan is to study the many levels of karate contained within Goju.
A structured syllabus is used to help develop students, offering an understanding of the importance of the traditional ways of Goju.
When the students have reached a level beyond the basic requirements, they are encouraged to look deeper into their own study.
Bunkai, kata, and kumite evolve into more than just traditional form.
Seeing my students progress and those moments where a student really connects with a particular technique. I love to watch a persons level of understanding grow and to watch their progress unfold.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
It depends on many factors including the level of pre-existing experience but from the beginning, the student will receive 1-1 instruction.
