About this pro

I'm a people person; I get on well with people because I enjoy getting to know them. This works well when helping my students learn about music, overcoming the obstacles that pop up so they develop good playing skills.  I am very successful engaging my students with their interests while teaching the core curriculum so the challenges are fun and interesting.

My skills as a producer with a well equipped project studio allows me to augment their studies with custom backing tracks.

Get in touch to set up a free Meet and Greet to see if I’m right for you or your child.

I get to share my love of music helping others understand it,  develeop thier skills so they can play, create and perform it. I also enjoy watching kids who are shy or insecure about their skills blossom with confidence as they learn to express them selves with music.

FAQs

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

As I get to know them I find out where they are with their musical development, ask where they want to go, or show them some ways to figure that out. Course material is created based on their current level.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Years of private and college study, performing, writing and recording professionally led into teaching and producing other musicians. I found my people skills made me effective with a wide variey of artists and students with varried tastes and interests.

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

I do. Private lessons are offerd on a weekly basis. Students are billed monthly with payment due by the first lesson each month. I accept all major credit/debit cards. Make ups are offered for the ocassional conflict with at least 24 hours advance notice.

Half hour lessons are $35 per lesson; Hours are discounted at $60 per lesson.  A 15% discount is applied to any additional family members taking weekly lessons. For 3 or more members of the same family the per lesson rate drops an additional $5.

How did you get started teaching?

I startred in college. I was asked by people who came out to hear me performing with different bands or groups.
