Secret Asian Man Music

I want to help people seek and out glorify their talents. I long to share my talents and foster this love of music.

I have been singing since I was in first grade. I have sung in church but have honed my talents through elementary and high school singing in different choruses and choirs. In high school, singing has brought me into the world of musical theatre. Going into college, I was involved in the college’s choral group and began performing in a cover band.

As an instrumentalist, I started playing classical piano when I was nine. I studied formally into high school but began a love of performing from behind the piano and singing. I have performed in the style of Billy Joel, Elton John, Bruce Hornsby, and Marc Cohn. I also enjoy Broadway Musicals as well as standards. As mentioned earlier, I also was the lead singer and keyboardist in a cover band. Much of our sets circled around 90’s pop; however, we covered many classic rock bands, like Rush, Journey, Van Halen. In this time, I taught myself bass and acoustic guitar.

Currently I play in a worship band for a multi-site Christian church in NJ. I play keys, bass, and acoustic guitar as well as singing background vocals.
