Prospective students should hire me because of my passion for teaching and my extensive knowledge and experience in teaching piano and playing the flute. I use my experience to customize my lessons towards my student's abilities and goals. CREDENTIALS: I am a musician classically trained by the top music program in Taipei City, Taiwan. I am also a Master of Music Performance (NYU) and a Certified Teacher in Level 1 Orff-Schulwerk Music Pedagogy. I play both the piano and flute and have extensive experience teaching both instruments as well as music theory and vocal training. PIANO EXPERIENCE: The piano was my first instrument. I have been teaching piano for over 10 years. I have trained students of all ages and levels, from children learning their first instrument, to adults relearning or refining their piano skills. I have extensive experience preparing students for school auditions, and ABRSM/NYSSMA certification exams. FLUTE EXPERIENCE: I have been teaching the flute for over 8 years. It is my performance instrument, so I am well aware of the breath techniques and training required to master the flute.

My greatest satisfaction is from seeing my students improve. I love helping people learn to play music; because music has been a constant source of comfort in my life. Giving someone the ability to express themselves musically is the greatest gift I can give.
