About
My passion for music expands in every aspect from teaching to performing or researching new music. My approach towards teaching is to help each and every student develop their God given potential. I like to teach skills for life not just for the piano. With over 30 years of experience, my students have won national and international competitions all over. I try to encourage students to participate in music events to help them grow musically and personally. I am located in Las Vegas, and can be located thru my website damarispianist.com or on Facebook damarismorales.com to see performances of my students and myself. I have been adjunct faculty at the College of Southern Nevada for 20 years, give master classes and clinics and perform solo and chamber music all over the US and Latin America.
I enjoy teaching because it allows me to be a mentor for young minds, and enjoy performing because it allows me to communicate in a very intimate manner with my audience thru the beautiful language of music.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I like to have an initial interview with the parents and the students to get to know each other and discuss their goals and aspirations and my studio procedures, including the pupils weekly practice and expectations.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I hold a Bachelor of Music and Master of Music degree in Piano Performance with extensive postgraduate studies in piano pedagogy.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I have an hour rate and can be prorated for the 45 minute lessons, and charge the month in advance, month by month. It's very simple!
What types of students have you worked with?
I've had the widest range of students over the years, from the very gifted, competition winners at international competitions, and music majors to autistic students and music lovers of all kind.
