Making music enjoyable has been my mission from the start. Music requires focus, dedication, and self motivation. All things that are very difficult for children. Not every one will grow up to be Mozart, and I dont intend to teach as if they will. Lets use music to teach those three important skills! And hey if the DO become the next Mozart thats just a cherry one top ;) Lets have fun with music!!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
The first few lessons we start with a simple Hanon, this give me a quick glimps at how the student learns best. Are they more visual, spatial, do they learn best through trial and error.. This information helps me identify what style of teaching will be most efficient for the student. From there I chose a curriculum that I think will best suite the student, this my be adjust along the way!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I began piano lessons at the age of 4, I’ve been playing for 20+ years. I began teaching at the age of 15, so exactly 10 years of teaching! I play other instruments as well and have been immersed in the music world my whole life. I have my associates in Music Performance for the viola and piano. I am currently completing my bachelors in Music Performance, with hopes of moving towards my master.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I generally look at the month, and then break that down into four pieces. Experienced teachers tend to charge $1 per minute. $30 for 30 minutes, $45 for 45 etc..
How did you get started teaching?
I had a performance with my school orchestra where I was able to play a solo piece, of which I can’t remember as it feel so long ago! I was approached by a parent who asked if taught lessons. I never had but thought why not! In fact, I said exactly that to them! So I had my first student! From there it was word of mouth, I had a studio that grew to about 25 consistent students in California. I then moved here and am in the process of building my studio here in Las Vegas
What types of students have you worked with?
I’ve worked with students of all ages and ability levels. I have found that I enjoy teaching the child beginner as the foundation is SO very important!! Laying that foundation in an a way that is enjoyable and efficient is something I’ve found I excel at!
