Colorful drawings and books help w learning. Interactive aids including computer learning. Most important is the development of the musical ear.. A calm collected approach, tailored to each students unique learning style. I also enjoy teaching in Spanish having lived in Mexico.
I enjoy working with children and adults. Their eagerness to learn is what drives me. I want to be the best teacher for each person. I am also bilingual English/Spanish.

First see where they are at the keyboard. What do they like best. What training have they had..Then we start with the ABCs of musical training which incorporates the teaching styles of Bach to Chick Corea.

How did you get started teaching?
Trained since childhood, this is my second career and I am fully enjoying it.
What types of students have you worked with?
All ages all stages. Children 6 and up. And adults including firefighter, marine, engineer and more. Everybody loves to play the piano!
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
My students performed at the Jazz Festival held by LV music teachers Association Sept. 25 2021. Once again they came away w superior ratings. They also have been in the Classical Junior festivals UNLV. This is not mandatory. But they enjoy it.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Look for someone you feel comfortable with. Someone who accepts you where you are and encourages you to grow and develop in the Art of Music.
