What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I start my Clients off with the basic fundamentals of the sweet science. This helps them hone their natural abilities, while also developing new skills to ensue confidence and conditioning.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I spent 2yrs excersing my skills at the United States Olympic Education Center under The watch of renowned '96 Olympics Head Boxing Coach Al Mitchell. His instruction help propelle me to becoming Americas # 1 ranked Middleweight fighter at the 2011 amateur boxing Olympic trials. I then followed up by turning Professional November 26th, 2011 after inking an Advisory contract with the powerful Al Haymon. This allowed me to showcase my talents on at the time HBO's World Championship boxing telecast. I would later go on to sign a Promotional deal with the well recognized Floyd Mayweather Jr in 2013, reaching a 16-0 12ko before my 1st defeat. Which I eventually rebounded from becoming a WBC REGIONAL Middleweight Champion in 2019. Followed with a WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP contest in 2021.
How did you get started teaching?
Began as a young teen. Whenever I would share my experiences with my peers from a variety of different kinds of backgrounds. Mostly, with close friends who wanted to learn how to defend themselves, more frequently it was helping others build confidence & conditioning.
What types of students have you worked with?
Everyone from school teachers, to Professional boxers themselves.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Becoming a WBC title holder right here in Las Vegas, Nevada at the Hardrock Casino resort. As well as fighting on the undercard of one of the biggest boxing events in the sports history Mayweather vs Pacquiao.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Besure to check credentials of your instructors.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Are they willing to invest money unto themselves by paying for Quality training.
