Carlos Guerrero Guitar Lessons

I had taught privately for over ten years in Connecticut, Massachusetts and Las Vegas, before my performance schedule took over from 2010-2020. My formal education includes training from The Hartford Conservatory of Music, and Berklee College of Music, but also the performance experience from acts like Human Nature, Wayne Newton and a host of Las vegas original and cover bands. National and global touring experience, from bars to arenas and everything in between.

My knowledge and experience comes from training in jazz theory and performance, and record production, but even moreso from the experience of being a full-time guitarslinger for hire.

My approach is to evaluate each student on an individual basis and tailor the lessons to their specific abilities and goals. Keeping them on track, on a road where they find results over time to keep them motivated. I bring my guitar to lessons, as well as a tuner, metronome, portable player, and any necessary books. Guitar lessons take place in the student's home.

The thing I love most about teaching is also one of the perks of being a performer: Around Las Vegas, you never know who you're going to run in to! It's always fun to network with new and interesting people.
