i love teaching and it reminds me of the great teachers I had when I was a kid. There is such a joy watching someone learn how to play or become a better musician from your expeirence. It's abeautiful thing. I call the gift of music and the gift bthat keeps on giving.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I do a very unique thing much like drivers ed or what I call 2 & 10 like a driver instructor would do. I really get the student to become one with his or her instrument. Proper placement, posture, left and right hand placement is essential right off the bat. Then a very easy introduction into chords and theory. I do it in a fun way and a very relatable way as opposed to throwing a buch of stuff right at the student and confusing them or frustrating them. Learning, playing and performing music should be fun, entertaining and rewardable.
