I most enjoy seeing students when they accomplish something that they never imagined possible. I designed and incorporated systematic approaches that move the student toward reaching personal musical goals by dealing directly with technical challenges that almost always go untended at stages of the student's development.

Ive been doing guitar lessons with Tony for about a month now. Hes a pretty fun and chill guy to work with. Having practiced a couple months without a teacher before him I think the thing Im benefitting most from is getting a really solid understanding of the basics of music theory and proper playing technique to build on and avoid injury. He explains the fundamental concepts in a way that I seem to get pretty easily and quickly so thats nice. I also message him a good bit outside of lesson time with questions and he responds quickly and in good, clear detail which is something I appreciate.

I have designed and incorporated systematic approaches that move the student toward reaching personal musical goals by dealing directly with technical challenges that almost always go untended at stages of the student's development. In general, the process helps students:

    • Build a solid foundation and reach personal goals.

    • Learn the styles you want.

    • Develop technique, harmonic understanding, improvisation, and aural skills

    • Learn to read and notate music.

I have had music lesson studios in the U.S. and in Canada for a combined 35 years and bring my knowledge and experience to the Las Vegas area.

I have had students who played for enjoyment and ones who have gone on to earn advanced degrees in music and/or to be professional musical artist.

    Writing my first symphony

I advocate hiring a teacher who helps students build a solid foundation and achieve personal musical goals.

What musical experience do I (the student) have?

Can I read music? How well?

    Have I used a metronome?
