About

I have been a teacher for over 10 years. I graduated from music from a Brazilian (Villa- Lobos conservatory) conservatory after studying music for 9 years of my life. I have taught Piano and vocal classes in Nevada and in Brazil. (I grew up for half of life in Brazil and the other half here in the US) I speak English and Portuguese like a native and I can get by in Spanish.

I love teaching beginning students of all ages starting at 3 depending if the child is interested in learning.

Come have some fun with me learning how to play the piano, I will even give you some voice lessons if you would like!

Frequently asked questions

My students will usually work in 2 different books, one that will be about technic and the other a fun music book. I also like to find music that the students enjoy and make it possible for them to play it! It has to be enjoyable and not boring!

I have been a teacher for about 16 years. I have taught piano, voice lessons, and English as a second language. I love teaching! I have studied music at a music conservatory for 9 years of my life, and I am now studying to get my degree as a regular teacher to be able to teach in public schools.

My price is the standard price you will find around town. However my classes are longer, I offer 1 hour classes for the price of a 30 min. class. There is just not enough time in 30 mins!!

I started teaching after having to play for a few years for the little kids church music time. I started to love to teach music to children and since I had the knowledge I decided to offer classes at my house.

I have experience with little kids and Senior citizens. Age does not mean anything if you want to learn!

I have also had students with special needs.

Sometimes you will find someone that knows how to play so well, but will not actually be able to teach well. A good player does not make a good teacher. Be careful in choosing!

I think a free class is a wonderful way to get to know the teacher! Call me and we will schedule it.
