About
Music and Performing is my passion!!! I personally have been performing for 15+ years and love every minute of it. From singing and playing instruments, to dancing and acting, I have done it all. At a very young age I started singing in show and children’s choirs. This quickly evolved to playing instruments however, I couldn’t decide whether I wanted to do; Band, Orchestra, or Choir so... I did all three!
My specialties are Musical Theater and a forward pop/belt sound. I have been music directing Musicals for quite some time now and currently teach theater at a local high school. I am trained classically in the world of Opera and enjoy the rudimentary fundamentals of the voice that it provides.
I personally believe that all young musicians should take private lessons due to the lack of one on one time that most students receive in the classroom. All band instruments are welcome and my prices are competitive.
LETS MAKE SOMETHING AWESOME TOGETHER!
I ONLY take students who are dedicated and are willing to practice. Just as athletes dont just become great overnight, neither will you unless you are willing to dedicate much time to the craft of music and performance.
I love watching people grow as they recognize how truly talented that they are! It brings me joy and satisfaction to know that I played a small part in the development of your instruments. :)

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Practice doenst MAKE perfect. PERFECT PRACTICE makes PERFECT. In my studio, you will learn how to practice. You will learn how to perform, You will learn how to sing with pasion, and you will learn how to control nerves and gain confidence.
The first lesson we have, we will jump right into singing for the first 10(25) minutes and then talk about goals and how we are going to get there. As the weeks go on, I become the students reporting partner and a cheerleader for when they practice!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have my Degree in Music Education and have taught Choir, Band and Orchestra. I have taken many higher level vocal instructions from well known voice teachers and voice stylists.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

$40 - 60 minute Lesson
How did you get started teaching?
During my high school years, I spent much time performing in musicals, large ensemble choirs, bands, and orchestras. Upon entering college, I continued my participation in the Arts and began the study of Music Pedagogy. I am thoroughly fascinated with the human voice, and the different capabilities that it has. I then learned that I loved teaching and started my study of all the instruments, not just the voice. I became proficient on all the band instruments and upon graduation from college, and was hired as a Band/Choir/Orchestra/Drama teacher at a college preparatory school in Las Vegas. I currently teach at a High School in the Park City, Utah area. I love molding young minds and have seen much success with students as I encourage them to do great and wonderful things in the world of music and art.
What types of students have you worked with?
K-12, young adult, adult
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Find someone who you click with. EVEN IF IT ISNT ME! You are going to be opening up a part of yourself that is unexplored so you have to find a teacher you can go on a journey with.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
How often am I willing to practice?
