About
I have over 14 years of teaching experience with a Doctor of Musical Arts, Master of Music, and Bachelor of Music degree in piano performance from the University of Southern California. I teach learners of all ages including individuals with special needs.
I believe in providing individual, specialized lesson plans for each student as each student has their own interests and needs. I strongly believe in teaching the fundamentals of piano playing (technique, rhythm, theory, varied repertoire, sight-reading) while also allowing students to have some choice in the repertoire they learn, thus fostering greater motivation and a love for the instrument.

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Lessons occur in my home studio in Summerlin or online. There are typically 4 lessons/month. Some students have 8 lessons/month. I will message you with current rates.
How did you get started teaching?
In 2010, I was asked by family friends if I could begin teaching their three children. From there, I grew a private piano studio. Additionally, I have been teaching piano online since 2019.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with a wide range of students from four to seventy+ year olds. Not only do I have experience teaching privately but also group classes at the college level. I have and contninue to teach students with special needs as well.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Look for someone with abundant experience in the field. Do not go off of price alone or else you may be setting your child up for a not so good experience with music that could leave them disliking it for the rest of their lives. I have heard way too many stories like this.
