I enjoy giving students the opportunity to express themselves through music, have a great time while doing so and providing invaluable life skills such as discipline, increased self-esteem and public performance. It is truly amazing to watch students grow into themselves as people and performers.
I have two children - ages 7 and 9 - who took lessons with Bethany this year. We have had an excellent experience. Bethany has an outstanding capacity to gauge the ability of her students and to push them (gently!) to excel. Time and again she encouraged my children to play pieces and to take on challenges that I thought were beyond them. Time and again, she was right about their abilities. I have been delighted to watch both of my children grow so much under her instruction. Bethany creates multiple opportunities for her students to perform throughout the year. We were very impressed by how clearly she telegraphs to her students the need to take each performance seriously and to treat every audience to a polished and professional performance. Bethany is also, quite simply, wonderful with children. Our two children have different personalities and she found ways to relate to and motivate each of them. She can work with them effectively on their best days and their worst. Both of my children really like her - they find her genuinely warm and caring, and they can tell that she takes them seriously. They look forward to lessons and they work hard all week so that they will not let Bethany down. Her expectations are high, but she is also careful to nurture her students' self-esteem and to teach them how to move beyond their mistakes. There are many other wonderful things I can say about Bethany. She is very responsive to emails and text messages. She always follows up when she says she will. She is never late for a lesson and frequently spends extra time with her students at the end of the lesson. She emphasizes technique and other skills, even as she ensures that her students are genuinely enjoying the music they are encountering and mastering In short, Bethany is an all-around wonder as a piano instructor. We have had a very positive experience with Bethany and would recommend her unreservedly to anyone.
It's such a privilege to have Dr. Campbell to teach our 3 kids Piano!!! We have been with Dr. Campbell for the last 6 years. All 3 of our kids have different interests and styles of learning, and Dr. Campbell is able to help all of them keep their interests in piano. She takes the time identify their music interest and utilizing that, find the pieces for them to play to keep them engaged and excel. We are so thankful to have Dr. Campbell be the piano teacher for us!
Dr. Bethany Campbell has been teaching piano to our fifteen-year-old daughter Nicole for many years now. From Nicole’s first meeting, we knew that Dr. Campbell was the teacher for Nikki because Dr. Campbell demonstrated commitment, diligence, creativity, command, but most of all, that contagious sparkle that kids love. Within weeks of Nicole working with Dr. Campbell, I was so satisfied because I could hear the tangible difference in Nicole’s pieces. Dr. Campbell has an intelligent but natural approach to communicating with Nicole and teaching musical applications. She knows how to trouble shoot and quickly find other ways to teach something that Nicole is having trouble learning. She has not only helped Nicole improve in technique; Nicole does not just play through notes anymore and now understands the importance of musicality and the spirit of the song. Dr. Campbell has helped to get Nicole to the next level over and over again. Dr. Campbell selects great music perfectly suited to Nicole’s tastes yet difficult enough to keep Nicole challenged. Dr. Campbell’s strength lies in her mastery of all the aspects of music; she is a gifted and talented pianist, and her love and respect of music truly comes through every time she sits with Nicole, facilitates recitals, and plays herself. Dr. Campbell has always demonstrated excellence, honesty, hard work, and she is able to put people at ease with her kindness, warmth and pleasant disposition. Dr. Campbell is a wonderful teacher and an inspiration to her students!
I cannot express enough what an excellent instructor, Pianist and person Dr. Campbell is. Miss Bethany has been the instructor for our son for about 2 years now. She is very professional, but fun and lighthearted at the same time. My Son absolutely loves and can't wait for his lessons each week. She has a profound way of connecting with each student and bringing the best out of each one. I highly recommend Dr. Campbell.
First, I conduct a complimentary, preview lesson with a student to see if they/their parents feel like we are a good match. Before this preview lesson, I ask that students/parents complete a questionnaire and return to me which will allow me to design a tailored first lesson plan. My goal is to make every student a self-sufficient, well-rounded pianist, bolstering their strengths and improving upon their weaknesses in addition to helping them achieve invaluable life skills such as increased self-esteem, expression, discipline and public performance.

Las Vegas lessons occur in the comfort of your own home and there are typically 4 lessons/month. Some students have 8 lessons/month. I will message you with current rates.
I have worked with a wide range of students from four to seventy+ year olds. Not only do I have experience teaching privately but also group classes at the college level. I have and contninue to teach students with special needs as well.
Look for someone with abundant experience in the field. Do not go off of price alone or else you may be setting your child up for a not so good experience with music that could leave them disliking it for the rest of their lives. I have heard way too many stories like this.
