Sylvanna Fraga comes from a very fine line of musicians. She studied with Martha Pisano, who studied with Alberto Williams, At international level of critics and audiences, Sylvanna Fraga has been consistently acknowledged for her strong and bright temperament along with her interpretive quality of performance combined with an admirable sensitivity, elegant grace and virtuoso technique. Her appearances have taken her to Europe, South, Central and North America.

Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Argentinian pianist and composer, who was a disciple of George Mathias, who studied with the great Frederick Chopin.

She has performed as a soloist, interpreting Schumann Piano Concerto with the Orchestra of the Foothills, “The Emperor”, Beethoven No. 5 at UCLA, and her romantic repertoire in Madrid, Salamanca, Segovia, Jerez de la Frontera (Spain), Rome, Sicily (Italy), Buenos Aires and Entre Ríos (Argentina), Rio de Janeiro, Sao Pablo, Curitiba (Brazil), Uruguay, Paraguay, Mexico DF, California, Las Vegas, Tennessee, Texas and Florida (USA). She has also performed at the Commander’s Holiday Reception for United States Central Command and the 6th Air Mobility Wing, MacDill Air Force Base, Florida, playing for the General of the US Army, Lloyd J. Austin III. She also has an invitation to perform for the President of the Dominican Republic, as a pianist, choir and orchestra conductor.

Fraga had the honor of perfecting and constantly improving her repertoire, with Maestro Brook Smith, piano accompanist to Mr. Jascha Heifetz, the greatest violinist of the century. Also, she keeps on refining her repertoire with Maestro Eduardo Delgado, considered one of the finest pianists alive.

Belongin to the Music Teachers National Association, Fraga is in constant demand as a private piano instructor and teacher of master classes. She also she teaches in her private studio, on-line to students from Europe, Asia and California. Sylvanna received a Steinway and Sons Top Teacher Award for 2016, recognizing music education and inspiring young people to embark on a lifetime of musical expression. Her youngest student was 3, her oldest 84. “ There’s no age limit to learn…” she affirms.
