Enrico comes to your house, he gets there on time (by the if you aren't early you're late standard) so the lessons start and end when you are expecting them to. He brings everything he needs to instruct with him (guitar, amp, instructional booklet). But that is what makes him a stereotypical teacher. What sets Enrico apart is his ability to determine your skill level and where you want your skill level to be and base his instructional time around that. His breadth of knowledge across multiple genres of music, and his ability to demonstrate it at a moments notice proved to me that he was and is going to continue to be a phenomenal instructor.

Rico is a great dude. By the end of my first lesson with him I was strumming along to popular songs. He also jams out which is cool too. I'm excited to keep taking lessons with Rico and I highly recommend him a lot! I would highly recommend him to anyone!!!

Rico is amazing! He knows a lot and is very patient. He also is very understanding when dealing with my hectic schedule. For Christmas, I wanted to play Edelweiss for my mom and grandma with my nieces singing. Rico was able to teach me, even though I'm a beginner and bc of that my mom and grandma were in tears. I owe him a lot! I would highly recommend him to anyone!!!

Rico is a really nice guitar teacher, working with you at your own pace, and teaching both music theory and actual guitar playing techniques. I'm always having a great time working with Rico.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

First, I figure out what their immediate and specific needs are. Then, I ask them what their goals and purpose of learning the instrument. Lastly, I evaluate where their skill levels are. This 3-step approach gives me an overview of the new student that helps facilitate the student's quick learning process.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I developed my teaching skills and taught guitar lessons at a church where I worked with. I also played for various musical bands in concerts and studio recordings that enhanced my knowledge and expertise about my work.

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

$22 per hour (within 10 mi radius)

How did you get started teaching?

It starts with the love of guitar playing. Then an opportunity to teach came along where I could share this passion. I just love it !

What types of students have you worked with?

All ages, gender and race

Describe a recent event you are fond of.

Playing lead guitarist doe a band and recording a CD of original songs

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?

Take a careful look at the professional. Read the testimonies and customer reviews about the instructor. This is very important.

What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?

Based on their profile, will the instructor fulfill my short or long-term goals ? Does he/she have good reviews ?
