I am the President of the Northern Nevada Music Teacher Association, has a wide knowledge of music selections that fit students the best. Always put students interest first. Easy to schedule with me around the students busy day.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Interview in person, explain policy, find out their expectation and we are good to go 😃!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
40 years experience in teaching piano, organ and voice lessons. Some of my students continue to pursue their careers in teaching piano, some continues their love for music by taking major or minor in piano at their colleges they attend.

$ 100/hour that includes trip to your place once a week.

I was 15 years old when I won several piano competitions and my mom's friends started to asked me to teach their kids.
What types of students have you worked with?
Kids with ADHD, kids as young as 3 years old and adults as young as 78 years old and any age in between.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I am the President of the Northern Nevada Music Teacher, Vice President for for the Nevada music teacher association, President for the organization for 2 years, and a chairwoman for the Reno Youth Festival for 6 years.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Make sure the teacher has a good credibility, background, years of teaching experience and make sure the methods of teaching fits the students needs and personality, because each student has their own uniqueness and interests and tastes in music of what music they want to learn that make them excited for their next lesson and love the lesson every time they meet with their teacher.
