Music has been part of my life since the age of seven, and over the years I've learned that all sides of musical education must be interconnected. You can't master playing an instrument if you don't know the theory; and even the best knowledge of theory doesn't mean much without putting it to practice of actual playing. But I also realize that every individual has different way of memorizing and mastering things.
