About
To say we are a boutique music school would be an understatement. More than the superior technical and functional training WVS provides, we have had our most-significant successes in the lives that we have changed, careers forged and TANGIBLE results we've achieved through our students (both our professional and, in some cases, legendary singers as well as our novices). My job is to make sure that every client gets optimized training and an experience that is profound and worth far more than the tuition they pay. If neither myself nor my staff is the right fit, I want to put them in the right hands regardless of what that costs me in time and resources. I have a real passion for this and have sacrificed much of my own professional career pursuits to ensure the successful path of others.
I have studied with more voice teachers, pathologists, scientists and renowned industry professionals than any colleague I know... and yet, I have gained more knowledge from my students than any of my formal training could provide. I see every client as a puzzle to be unlocked... not merely their voice, but their entire self-perception. This provides me with great fulfillment and joy to know I might be using the voice as a conduit to change not just the way someone "sounds" but the way they LIVE.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
We always start with a thorough assessment of the students' overall skills, talents, goals and objectives as well as a program plan. No one leaves an initial lesson without an armful of exercises and a great deal of knowledge whether they study here or somewhere else.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our instructors are all HIGHLY trained and many are associate and adjunct faculty at major conservatories and programs including Westminster Choir College, Marymount Manhattan, the European American Alliance and The Juilliard School. The program founder even received medical training in voice physiology from Vanderbilt University as well as composition and vocal performance training at Blair, Manhattan School of Music and The Juilliard School.
