About
I offer one-on-one and/or small group classes, which allows me to give more individual attention to each student. This means (theoretically) they should be able to advance faster.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I ask them if they have any martial arts experience. If they do, then I ask why they are looking to learn Wing Chun instead of staying with their previous style. If they don't, then I ask what they hope to get out of training with me.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been studying Wing Chun since 1995.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Group lessons are $100 per month, due on the first lesson of the month. Private lessons are $60 per hour. There are discounts available, but ONLY for group lessons.
How did you get started teaching?
My Sifu said I had permission to teach, so I began by offering a course at Hudson Valley Community College.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with men and women. Their ages have ranged from early twenties to mid-sixties. Some have had prior martial arts experience; others were total beginners.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
The 3-session Hudson Valley Community Education course is always a blast.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Pay attention to your gut feeling. If you don't think a teacher will be a good fit for you, don't start going there.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Why do I really want to do this?
Will I be able to commit?
