My wife Suzanne and I co-teach our students...she is the expert in education and I am expert in piano technique. This is a dynamite combination, and we have done it long enough to know how it works the best.
enjoy passing my knowledge onto others, and saving them time by showing them the most economical techniques. These are based on a method taught by Juilliard Professor the late Gyorgy Sandor, who was a great performer, especially of Bartok, who he knew personally. I took lessons from Sandor and learned about the method from him.

We do a consultation first, then if all parties agree, we begin lessons on a following day. We usually divide time up between basic musical knowledge, piano technique, and pieces.
I hold the Artist Diploma in Piano from the College-Conservatory of Music, Cincinnati. I have the Master of Music degree in Piano from the Manhattan School of Music, and a B.Mus in Composition and Piano from the University of Connecticut.
