Piano With Eliana
About
Hi, I'm Eliana! I'm a classically trained pianist, educator, and the founder of Piano with Eliana in Cincinnati, Ohio.
For more than 25 years, I've helped children, teens, and adults discover not only how to play the piano, but how to genuinely enjoy making music. My goal is to help every student become a confident, expressive musician while building creativity, focus, discipline, and a lifelong love of music.
I earned my Master of Music in Piano Performance from Butler University and an Artist Diploma from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music (CCM). I have also completed Suzuki Piano Teacher Training with renowned pedagogue Rita Hauck, combining a strong classical background with child-centered teaching strategies.
My lessons are engaging, encouraging, and tailored to each student's unique learning style. Whether I'm teaching a curious 5-year-old, a motivated teenager preparing for auditions, or an adult returning to the piano after many years, I believe students learn best when they feel successful, challenged, and excited to come back each week.
I specialize in:
Preschool and elementary beginners
Private piano lessons for children, teens, and adults
Creative group piano classes
Transfer students looking for a fresh, motivating approach
Adult beginners and returning pianists
My teaching blends traditional piano study with movement, ear training, rhythm activities, improvisation, music theory, and games that make learning both effective and fun. Students develop solid technique and reading skills while also learning to listen, create, and perform with confidence.
Throughout the year, students enjoy performance opportunities, including studio recitals and my popular ensemble recitals where they perform with professional live musicians—an unforgettable experience that helps build confidence and musicianship.
Parents often tell me that piano becomes one of their child's favorite activities of the week, and that's exactly what I hope to create: a joyful environment where students feel inspired to learn and proud of their progress.
Whether your goal is classical piano, playing for fun, building confidence, or giving your child a strong musical foundation, I'd love to help you begin that journey.
I look forward to meeting you!
