About
Hello! My name is Erin and I have a Bachelors and Masters in Music. I have years of experience teaching various aspects of music: voice, piano, violin, and music theory. I've taught beginning children and pre-professional college students. As a classical singer, I've sung on stage in the USA, Itay, Germany, Austria, and Greece. I love sharing my passion, music, with others. I'm comfortable teaching any age and experience level.
My teaching philosophy is pretty simple: I think that learning music should be fun!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
My first question is to ask the student what his or her goals are for lessons. Do you want to audition for a school musical? Have you always dreamed of playing a certain song on the piano? Then, I work with the student to develop a plan to reach that goal, based on the student's available time to practice and how long we have to acheive the goal.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have both a masters and a bachelors degree in music. I have worked with students of all ages and skill levels to help them grow as musicians.

$40/60-minute lesson
For beginning students, I strongly recommend a 30-minute lesson.
