Hi! I'm Grace Pulver, a homeschool graduate who has been a piano instructor for twelve years. I just got married and moved to Fort Wayne, and I'd love to offer Advanced Music Education in my home.
I teach using a natural learning method (similar to the Suzuki method) blended with classical education. It's tried and true, and some of my students are now teachers.
My students focus on disciplined practice, playing by ear, theory, creativity, and performance. Music is a joy to create, and it's my goal to pass that love on to my students.
I provide training in classical, hymns and CCM, arranging, some contemporary and jazz - whatever you're interested in learning! I love teaching students of all levels and at all learning speeds. Girls only please unless my husband is home. :)
My contact information is as follows: [email protected] or 260-416-8288. It's best to use email or phone because I've heard Lessons isn't great at contact timing. ;)
Please text if I don't answer the phone; my voicemail doesn't work right now.
Grace taught me piano for a long time. She is a fun teacher, and she makes sure the student is learning and playing piano the right way. Grace is also a very good piano player, and everyone loves it when she plays the Hallelujah Chorus! She wants her students to have fun with the piano and not regard things as 'hard,' even if the level may be difficult to learn. Grace loves piano, and everyone loves Grace! 😏
Exceptionally talented, energetic and encouraging teacher. Helps you set and achieve goals. If you want to learn from a great sight reader who has also trained in classical and gospel genres and has played in several different types of settings, this is the one!
Grace is an amazing piano teacher! Not only does she teach many different things and in variety, but she also makes sure that you have the skills to become a great piano teacher. Theory, Classical, Gospel and Church Music are just some of the different types she will help you with. She also will make sure that everything she teaches you is for your particular needs. And, to top all of that, she is not one of those plain piano teachers who tell you what to do and then leave. She is very upbeat and encouraging!! Definitely not a "bleh" teacher. I took lessons from her for at least 5 years, and she is the best piano teacher I have ever had!! I highly, and I mean, very highly, recommend her as your teacher.
Not only is Grace is talented and knowledgeable enough in music and the piano to teach advanced piano students, but she is also warm and inviting even to young beginners. She has a winning personality that makes piano lessons something to look forward to, and she has the gift of motivating her students to want to accomplish a lot! I especially appreciate that Grace has the ability to be very encouraging on the one hand while holding her students to the standard of their abilities on the other. I recommend her to students of all ages and ability levels. She is the best piano teacher we have ever had!
$20 for a 30 minute lesson
I started taking piano lessons when I was six and absolutely loved my piano teacher. She was passionate about music and taught me to love it too. I became a church pianist when I was 12, and a church member asked me to teach her daughter to play. Ever since then, I've been teaching, looking for the best qualities in teachers and emulating those for my students. It is my goal to pass on the passion for music that I received from my first teacher.
My reputation for excellence in teaching has enabled me to have students constantly and wherever I moved. I just got married and moved to Fort Wayne, and I'd like to work out of my home, so I'm advertising now in hopes of moving into full time piano teaching. Apply now while my schedule is still open!
P.S. I'm very proud of my alumni students - they have impressed me so much in so many ways. I've asked a lot of them, and they exceeded my high expectations. You guys make me so happy. :)
Advanced students, beginners, fast learners, slower students. I will adapt my teaching methods to the needs of the student to maximize their ability.
