Hi! I’ve taught piano for over 20 years to students ages 4-85. I individualize lessons to meet student’s needs and interests. I use the Piano Safari, Suzuki and Faber Methods, principally. I have a BME in piano and an American Guild of Organist’s Service Playing Certificate. I work also as an accompanist and church organist, in addition to teaching. I am an enthusiastic, patient, dedicated, hard working and inspiring teacher with a great deal of teaching experience. I teach rote songs, improvisation, music theory, sight-reading, repertoire of all styles, musicianship and technique. Students participate in Recitals, performances at Retirement Homes, Piano Guild and Scale Olympics.

Miss Holly makes learning piano FUN for my daughters. Kids have lots of stresses on their plates today, and Holly helps them learn to enjoy music, enjoy piano, and enjoy lessons. My daughters always leave weekly lessons with a big smile on their faces!

Hollys teaching technique makes learning how to read music easier, and she introduces practice techniques at an early age which feel more like games than practice. Holly is professional and caring, and provided excellent teaching from elementary school to preparing my daughter for college entrance auditions. Now my daughter also teaches piano!

Without exaggeration, Holly is one of the most peaceful and kind teachers that I have encountered. I am a school teacher and come into contact with quite a few teachers.
Holly has not only helped my two sons, ages 7 and 10, to learn an instrument, but also to enjoy making music and to relax their bodies and minds while doing it. I am eager to continue working with her and to observe my boys progress under her leadership!
