I have 20 years of professional teaching experience. I teach all styles but specialize in coaching for performances and auditions, and pop, rock, contemporary music.
My undergraduate background is classical and musical theatre and I have worked on graduate level technique in pop/rock styles and the science of the singing voice.

Ask them their particular teaching style or philosophy and also what they may specializeAsk if Vocal Instructors have a background in Vocal science Pedagogy. Not all people giving lessons have this training...you will get the best training from someone who understands the science of the voice.
