About
My teaching approach: In the first lesson I'll ask the student their goals in music and work from there...of course they might want to change directions later. Most often I teach the student by ear (in the begining) unless they specifically ask to start by reading music. I show songs that the student loves so they quickly and in a fun manner learn how to play. Then, if they are interested we can start learning all the finer aspects of guitar playing like improvisation finger picking theory etc.
