    Frequently asked questions

    Let's find out:

    What you want to learn.

    Where you are now.

    What is holding you back.

How to get you there, While having a blast playing.

Have been playing/gigging since the age of 14. Openned for several "Big Named" rock acts. I studied with teachers at a very young age and attended Master Jazz Guitar classes, later in life.

I have always been a hands on, playing in front of an audience, type of guitarst. Never really enjoyed the sitting in a room reading out of a book process.

Pricing is pretty negotiable. All depending on if I am coming to you or you coming to me.

I don't like to charge more than $25.00 an hour (travel time included). I mean "Come On!" these guys charging 50, 60, 70 and up should be on tour or at least have several instructional books published.

I started teaching at the age of about 16 at a local music shop, in my small hometown of Temperance MI.

I haven't really done a whole lot of music store lessons, in my guitar career. Just to busy on the road or with other occupations supporting and raising my family (Wife and 6 kids).

Teaching or playing guitar doesn't typically pay to put a kid through college

I have worked and played with every level of guitarist. I have been at every level of ability, myself, and feel that I have much knowledge that I can pass on.

I am definitely not a virtuoso or someone that will amaze you with fretboard acrobatics that the world has never seen.

However, I have been at the level that you are at and I know how I got passed it.

I was out west for many years and have recently moved back to MI and my home town.

My current band is booking up quickly and I am enjoying playing with these guys. There is nothing better than having a gang of musical friends to hang out with.

If your stuck in a rut or not moving fast enough, because of ability. Get help!

If your teacher is not teaching you what you want to know. Change teachers!

If your not having fun. Whats the point!

If I continue progressing at this speed, will I be happy with the progress?
