Growing In The Gift School Of Music LLC
About
Our Business stands out because there are not many online, public and private music schools that teach what we teach. We teach hands on instrument training to enable our students to gain quick and effective results to master learning there instrument and craft!
We enjoy having the opportunity to teach someone the gift of music! We enjoy being music educators/instructors because we have the opportunity to invest our musical knowledge and experience to our students with hope that that student will pass that same knowledge on to someone else. There is a saying music make the world go around!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
We first like to see where the student is at musically. Then We like to assess what the students goals are for learning that instrument etc. We like to say that we will not teach a classical pianist metal music. lol. Then we build a curriculum totally around that student or students. This curriculum is taylor made for children, teens, youth and adults. So everyones curriculum may look completely different.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We've taught music lessons at Guitar Center, Hubbard Music and went to Berklee Online and studied each of these instruments taught.

What types of students have you worked with?
We've taught young children from the ages 4 and up. We've taught adults 65 and older. We've taught teenagers. We've taught a spanish church Piano and Drums. You name it we have taught them all.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Right now we are currently teaching at after school programs and churches that need new musicians etc.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Look for a teacher who is going to teach you what you need to know about what your goals are specifically, meaning if you want to learn jazz, get a jazz piano teacher instead of someone whose background is only rock.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
1. Know what you want to learn
2. know why you want to learn it
3. know what your expectations are for getting those lessons.
4. have specific goals for your lessons (Don't just get singing lessons to be a shower singer).
5. Have a platform to perform the knowledge you are obtaining from lessons.
