Meredith Donovan Music Studio

Hey there! I’m Meredith, and I’ve been playing various instruments for 12 years—but more importantly, I’m passionate about helping you or your child discover the joy of music! Whether you're a total beginner or looking to sharpen your skills, I create lessons that are engaging, personalized, and stress-free. I currently teach piano, guitar (acoustic and electric), clarinet, music theory, and audio production for ages 8 and up!

I know learning an instrument can feel intimidating, but my goal is to make it exciting and approachable. I love finding new ways to make learning fun, whether through games, challenges, or songs you actually want to play.

When I am not teaching lessons I am writing and producing my own music as an independent singer/songwriter. I often carry skills over into lessons and can teach students about how the music functions, not just how to play it. I also have helped students learn to explore their creativity and try writing their own pieces. I currently have students of all ages that are learning to write music to further their playing, with my youngest student learning composition at just 10 years old!

Please note - I am currently only accepting students ages 8 and up, lessons are only available at my home studio or virtually. For virtual lessons the student must be 10 or older and have access to their selected instrument, a device that supports Zoom, and preferably a USB microphone so I can hear their instrument better.
