Zed's Practitioners is an all in one private music lesson studio that teaches over 10 different types of private music lessons. Zed has extensive knowledge in many area's of music and he uses his composition skills to write music for his students. Zed is also the Only private music instructor in Oklahoma to specializes in working with kids with special needs. All ages and abilities are welcome at Zed's Studio.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Each student is pretty different so the process ranges, but I first gather what they already know, and what their short term and long term goals are with the instrument they have selected. Then I evaluate them on 3 basic areas of reading music, pitch, rythm, and math skills. I then compose music based on the areas they need to improve in while working towards the students set goals.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
6 years of private teaching experience.
Directed/taught a Choir for 6 years.
Majored in Jazz piano and Orchestral Composition.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Make sure you are not just focused on the price. It's important to find a quality teacher when learning an instrument so you don't get burned out and give up right away. This is why I offer my first lesson for free so people can see what kind of quality lesson they get before diving into payments.
