What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I will teach them to play a simple song with one finger on one string.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have over 30 years experience teaching guitar to all age groups.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
My fees are $20 per lesson which are usually one hour.
How did you get started teaching?
I have been playing guitar since I was 15, my brother Mike got me a job at a local music store teaching when I was in my 20's and I have been doing that as a side job ever since.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with all kinds of students including some with disabilities.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Listen to all kinds of music, rock, country, jazz and classical because they all have something to offer.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Ask yourself if you are willing to put in the time it takes to learn any instrument.
